Year End Giving Campaign

We are so grateful for the ways God has blessed us in 2024! We have seen hearts touched and Jesus glorified because there is a place of 22/7 prayer and worship in our city.

As we look forward to 2025, we find ourselves in a moment of real financial need. Overall, finances have been tough this year and we’re having to make some painful changes to our budget. We’d like to ask you, our friends, for your support as we finish up the year.

We are particularly aiming to strengthen two categories of our budget: our Staff Fund and our House of Prayer Expansion Fund. Please read about each of these areas of ministry below, and pray about clicking on the GIVE button to sow into strengthening this ministry into the next year.

On the giving page, select either Staff Fund or HOP Expansion from the dropdown menu.

Goal: $12,000

Our missionaries and volunteer staff are laboring faithfully to build 24/7 prayer and worship in DFW. Currently, we have 13 Intercessory Missionaries who raise support to serve 25-45 hours a week, and around 20 Volunteer Staff who serve ~8 hours a week. We also have 9 Junior Volunteer staff (ages 5-15), serving alongside their parents.

The majority of our staff’s time each week is spent in the prayer room itself, keeping the “fire” of prayer on the altar through worship leading, prayer leading, ushering, and section leading. They also serve in all of the behind-the-scenes capacities our ministry needs, such as scheduling, accounting, janitorial, maintenance, media, event planning, and so many more.

We try to support and bless our staff as much as we can. This Staff Fund will go towards several of the ways that we aim to pour into those who pour so much into The Prayer Room:

  • We give a few small stipends for specific roles that serve above and beyond.

  • We serve our staff a catered dinner every other month during our staff meeting as a chance to invest in relationships together.

  • We take our staff out of town every November for a very important retreat at a big rented house in the country, where we eat, play games, talk vision, and grow deep bonds.

  • We carefully offer incentives for people outside of DFW to move here and join staff at TPR, which helps to increase our missionary staff number.

Our staff is the backbone of everything that happens at The Prayer Room, but our ability to continue building staff in these ways has been significantly impacted for the coming year due to how much we’ve received in donations in 2024. Would you consider sowing into our staff as they serve so diligently to give Jesus a place of perpetual worship in our city?

Goal: $12,000

Part of our calling is to use our experience to invest in strengthening other houses of prayer across the country. This has been a particular focus over the past three years, as Brad has traveled monthly to different prayer ministries to offer consulting to the leaders and a conference to the community. As of this November, we’ve done consulting trips 38 months in a row to different ministries across the country, and we’re currently booked up for the next six months! We have seen incredible fruit as a result of these trips:

  • A couple of HOP directors told us that they were about to quit but are now freshly committed to continue.

  • So many HOPs have doubled their prayer room hours after receiving consulting.

  • Many HOPs have found answers to what their expression is supposed to look like, and can now build with a clear vision.

  • Several new HOPs started after people came to the conference from another town and were convicted that they were called to start one too.

  • Alongside these conferences, Brad often teaches on prayer at a local church when he travels.

Though these consulting trips are not our only initiative for our House of Prayer Expansion efforts, these trips are our top priority. We also send out Strike Teams, made up of a handful of our staff, to houses of prayer that need an extra boost. Most recently, we were able to provide worship training to people who had never played an instrument at a house of prayer in El Paso, TX! We’d like to be able to put aside some funding for future Strike Teams, so we’re hoping that once we hit our funding threshold for consulting, additional funds would go to Strike Teams.

Our desire is always to offer these trips free of charge to the ministries we travel to, but as it stands we don’t have the finances coming into this budget that we have for the past several years and we will have to make some painful changes if things don’t shift. We very much want to continue offering these incredible resources to houses of prayer across the country; would you help us continue to strengthen HOPs across the USA through these trips?
